Bio

Allee’s photographs explore ways we perceive, imagine, and are influenced by the built environment. His photographs have been exhibited and published widely and are in the permanent collection of major institutions. His work has also appeared and been profiled in publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Slate, Artforum, New York Magazine, The Village Voice, American Photography, among others. He received his MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts, where he was awarded the Ruttenberg Prize, and holds a BA in Economics and Government from Cornell University. Allee lives and works in New York City.
